Well, tomorrow is my last full day in Japan. I can’t believe it has been 5 months. It feels like it was 5 weeks. Or 5 years. I waver between the two.

It sure has been a crazy adventure! I will miss a lot of things about it, but I’m sure I’ll be back. For now, I’m excited to get home to my family, friends and American comforts (read: Wendy’s)

Of course I haven’t posted everything yet, so continue reading for more photos! I’ll be pounding them out during Winter break.

Some shrine festival we happened upon… always excitement brewing in Tokyo!

Fat, beautiful Japanese cats! I will miss them so much!

Nice walking tour of the Hongo area from my Contemporary Japan: From Ramune to Anime professor, Ted Fowler.

You never know when or where you can make new friends

Nakamise Shopping St. and Sensouji Temple

A little bit too much for Dad…

Hama-rikyu garden

Tokyo Skytree - The newest and tallest building in Tokyo, and the second tallest manmade thing in the world! Amazing view. Also the elevator ride was so fast - everyone on the elevator let out a collective “woooahhhh” when we reached the top after a few seconds.
